YouTube only shows one extra step, taking out the fan, that and the fact that most shops double the price of parts.

To each there own, though.

They double the price of parts at there costs which is typically less than listed price. Labor for the most part covers just the overhead and parts is where most of the profit comes from.

For the most part cheaper doesn't = quality. Most reputable shops won't deal with or warranty cheap rebuilt or aftermarket parts.

They probably won't charge you the lowest price on parts but will be close to what you would have paid if you got it yourself. Labor is whee they make their money.
