Really hasn't been that bad.

She has a tantrum ever now and then. As long as we aren't in public I just ignore her until it's over. Unless she hits me or my wife.

Every parent we know says 3 is worse.
Eh. I think it all depends on how much you feed into it. I think ignoring them unless they’re outright defiant is the best way.

You can't call it a tantrum anymore. On CNN and MSNBC they call it "a peaceful protest", or "an expression of their constitutional right to free speech".

That's how she is. Rarely does it last more than 15-20 seconds if you pay no attention
I think really intelligent kids get into things not because they’re bad but because they’re curious about everything. They want to know how everything works or what happens when they do something. I never wanted to dampen my daughter’s curiosity so I would always explain to her why something was a bad idea instead of just saying no. That worked amazingly well.

Unless it's a safety issue I try to do the same.

It's also amazing what they can figure out on their own and how quickly when given a chance.

She was playing on a playset few weeks back a rock wall was the only way up to the slide. The other parents kept picking her up and putting her on top.

Took me showing her 3 times. That's it 3 times. And she was fine on her own after that.

Everyone wants to do everything for little kids though.
