Eh. I think it all depends on how much you feed into it. I think ignoring them unless they’re outright defiant is the best way.Really hasn't been that bad.
She has a tantrum ever now and then. As long as we aren't in public I just ignore her until it's over. Unless she hits me or my wife.
Every parent we know says 3 is worse.

You can't call it a tantrum anymore. On CNN and MSNBC they call it "a peaceful protest", or "an expression of their constitutional right to free speech".Really hasn't been that bad.

I think really intelligent kids get into things not because they’re bad but because they’re curious about everything. They want to know how everything works or what happens when they do something. I never wanted to dampen my daughter’s curiosity so I would always explain to her why something was a bad idea instead of just saying no. That worked amazingly well. That's how she is. Unless it's a safety issue I try to do the same.I think really intelligent kids get into things not because they’re bad but because they’re curious about everything. Not sure. I left a package at the garage yesterday and it was gone today. A nice Jaguar is there with expired plates. The whole property is overgrown like that. It shares a driveway with a house in the front that has a nicely kept yard.Does anybody live there?
