Helicopter parenting to the extreme. My daughter said some of her friend’s parents use this app. They just leave their phones in their room if they don’t want their parents to track them. Lol. IMO, this guy summed up perfectly what parenting should be.

Parents lose track of their main responsibility, raising that child to become an independent adult. If you have to monitor 24/7, something is very wrong.Kids leaving the house without their phones?

And so it begins. My granddaughter who was in gymnastics was told they wanted her to drop out of 4th grade and become homeschooled so she could devote 7 hours a day to the program.
