I have a camera that face's my front door so my wife can make sure there's no snakes waiting for her to leave in the morning. You don't want to know why...Lol.Could you imagine going to work, you half open the door not looking while talking to your wife and, SURPRISE!!!

It’s alligator mating season.
That’s why they’re looking for @JohneyIt’s alligator mating season.
Contrary to popular belief, alligators aren’t everywhere. There are a bunch in some areas and a few in others. I used to see them every day on my rural route, but I have not seen one since. People have invaded their territory and moved them farther out. There is always a chance of seeing one in a pond but not like before. If you want to see an alligator now you pretty much have to go looking for them. Snakes can be found in every state except Alaska and Hawaii.Snakes & alligators.
Christ. You're all making me rethink my plans of retirement down there.

That’s what the bug man is for. I don’t have one but I rarely if ever see spiders in my place. I noticed a spider web in a corner for the first time the other day. The mosquitoes on the other hand….Fair enough.

I think I’ve seen 3 former palmetto bugs in my place in the past 3 years and I don’t even use a bug man. They’re a fact of life here but I rarely see them.Palmetto bugs?
