In 1916, the founder of UPS asked the teamsters to unionize his workers.
So frankly buddy, you have no idea WTH you're even talking about.
Here's what you've overlooked. It wasn't until the NLRA was passed in the mid 1930's that provided the Teamsters with "protected conduct" did the Teamsters actually have legal standing. Outside of local and regional areas of strength it didn't have much national influence and much of what it did gain was accomplished through sheer violence and intimidation.
Now that SCOTUS has granted state courts the right to hold unions accountable for damages and economic loss the employer suffers at the hands of Teamster union activities further illustrates the weakening power of labor unions.
Now where did I say that was a good thing? It's simply changing times and labor unions will have to find other ways to remain relevant on the labor front.
