Can someone clue Taylor in please.

That's one of the most arrogant things I've ever seen someone claiming to be "in the know" to post here.

Tony Q as part of Denis T's inner circle confirmed.
Says the guy that signs his own members warning letters. Why would you sing any warning letters? You do know what you are required to sign as a condition of employment don't you?

UPS will definitely take advantage. Smh.
Unacceptable.
The sad part is that it isn't even something that needs to be "taken advantage" of. The language is pretty clear. "As long as work is available" means they can give each M-friend driver 9.5 hours of work and no more or less, and send all the rest home because their work was already delivered by combination drivers in loads that were advanced on the weekend.

And BUG, your point about the supplementals superseding the NMA if the terms are more favorable in the supplemental is a good point (except in the case of specific language where the NMA supersedes all other language)...except for the fact that a lot of people are under the impression that the negotiating committee for the NMA can't possibly have the interests of the workers in mind to allow language like that in the NMA in the first place. Who's to say that the supplemental negotiating committees won't use that same language in reference to the 8-hour guarantee as well?

Sure, it's a conspiracy theory, but look at what the IBT leadership is touting as the greatest contract since sliced bread...

That's cute.

You're on the National Negotiating Committee and claim to know it all but don't understand precedent, previous arbitration rulings and how they impact discipline in different regions.

It's amazing that we're even in this situation. JH and DT are probably bent over the meeting room table (in the golf course clubhouse) screaming "YES DADDY" as Company negotiators run a train on them right now.

Go on.... What else? Don't hold back on the details.

As a non pc driver looking in.
Looks like ups will advance volume on the weekends with the hybreds leaving bare minimum amount RPCD M-friend routes. That’s one way the IE guys will save money.
But advancing loads isn’t cheap either....more feeder runs... more “down time “ at the rail yards...that’s why you don’t see loads advanced unless it’s near a holiday or Christmas....I know they advance rails for Saturday but they are loosing money on that venture and not sure if they could make money even with running some hybrids....who knows

Nope you are wrong. Convince me otherwise. The only misleading thing is your boy selling out the top skilled job and it’s your job to convince everyone on here otherwise. “If you do this, you’ll move up the ladder!!”
For the past 24 year and probably more, if your ready to work they are required to find you work. Maybe @Gimme Danger can help you out a bit more with this.
You think Denis will take any non set up questions after the call?

It's all scripted from the top down. The 22.4 hybrid is a deliberate lowering of our standards, with direct comparison to the red circling of 22.2 FT inside jobs in 1982.

DT doesn't like criticism from officers or members. He spends more time arguing against members than against the company.

The only way to get their attention is to vote the national down and send them back to the table.

The bum is 77. He will leave and watch multiple factions of his cronies fight and throw mud for president. Problem is we won't know who is the worst of 2 evils

That’s true presently.
However when the hybrids hit the road they making 6 dollars less. A mathematician at 55 Glennlake figure out the numbers. If not Glennlake would not be making this a issue.

The advancement of volume may occur in buildings operating beyond their current capacity. To cut overtime costs in that particular operations. Ups IE figures in red river district we pay 10,000,000. in additional costs for hybred drivers costs rather than 15,000,000. For overtime for regular drivers.

Their has to been a reason all district IE personnel has to report their projected numbers to region to see if hybreds will cut costs to their individual operations
