Disciplinary action already....in cab cameras.

Deranged lunatic
Also we are union, long-term employees. There is very real evidence to assume that the alledged benefits of cameras only works because they are a tool for a less specialized, more transitory workforce. Who the hell gets lucky enough to make it 35 years while working unsafe the whole time.

And, of course, that's the real reason for the cameras, turn by turn Orion, etc. Right?

The thing with building cameras is they do not single out any one person. You'd have to crop and cut the video in hysterical fashion to form harassment of a single employee. Inward facing cameras on the other hand are literally formatted like selfies. The ability to single out and harass one driver is built into the recording format.

They described worse-than-casino video surveillance. Maybe that's an exaggeration, but my response was based on it being somewhat accurate.

Lot's.
Not many.
I disagree.

As has been illustrated many, many times On BC......the careers of these folks are littered with being fired, injuries and all manner of accidents.......some being very proud of their checkered past.

Some of our worst drivers are Circle of Honor and long time employees. Running stop signs, speeding, on and on. Deliberately obstinate types. No? You bet!

We also know folks rarely get fired at UPS and it sticks. This explains the longevity while being unsafe.

You can disagree, (not a shock) but you would be wrong. Injuries are always the employees fault? Outside of innuendo and hearing things secondhand what do you know? I’m going to guess not much. are you personally involved in their discipline? Do people get a second chance? They sure do that’s why we pay Union dues. Can they continue to be unsafe and have a long career? Like we’ve said over and over again not very often. It’s always curious to me when people are bitter and envious of others it’s really unhealthy. It’s really always best to mind our own business in regards to other peoples discipline.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
