Drivers Retiring

When a driver retires, i understand they have to post his route up for bid. But do they have to hire another driver to be a swing driver to fill in for the one that takes his route?

If they need a driver they will. Cant force them to hire another as long as they aren't sending a supervisor out to make deliveries

And a lot of times they don’t

Especially after making a $20 Billion dollar capital investment.... and the stock decline in the 1st Qtr of this year....

If they do replace the swing driver.....it will most likely be with a "seasonal" driver.
