FedEx PPA Going Away

The problem is the House hasn't done anything else since the Dems took power. So let's get going.
The facts of the matter are still present. Trump and his serfs circumvented the law in an attempt to gain personal political and economic advantages.....and got caught.....And worst of all....they admit it .

No, they didn't and to date no evidence has been presented that they did. Schiff concocted a plan that got blown up when Trump released the transcript. He had no choice but to go forward with the hearings, but had no one who actually heard the phone call in person or had proof of wrongdoing. Pointing out this kind of thing makes me an evil doer lacking self awareness according to @Sportello but so be it. What will be interesting is will enough Democrats vote to send this to the Senate?

They’ve sent hundreds of bills to die by Mitch’s hand. You can read all about them it’s public info, or keep believing your propaganda, whatever makes you angry.
OK, what were the more significant ones? Pelosi has had the USMCA trade deal on her desk for almost a year. She won't do anything that will give Trump a win. What are the significant bills McConnell has shot down?

Presently. it would appear that the evidence is too strong to do anything else. Hopefully, by the time he begins his second term he will finally comes to terms with the fact that nobody including he himself is above the law.

You still can't name one witness who presented evidence of wrongdoing. But you do you.

You're delusional. Every witness supported the claims of the whistleblower, who alleged the quid pro quo/extortion call and subsequent actions. Today's news added new information that confirms wrongdoing even more strongly.

Every witness said they heard from someone else except Sondland. He said under cross examination that Trump told him he wanted nothing from the Ukrainians. And Rudy worked out a deal for himself to find missing Ukrainian assets overseas but that fell apart. Can't impeach Trump over that.

It’s been a few months. You really think the process to remove a corrupt president should happen in a couple weeks? It takes longer for a moving violation to go through.

They can vote to impeach right now. There is nothing keeping them from doing so. According to them, they've established that he committed an impeachable offense. The only thing left for the House to do is to jump through the hoops to take a vote. They only need 218 votes, which they have and then some.

The ball is in their court. They can impeach and send it to the Senate for trial.

"All of the new hearsay is consistent with the existing hearsay."

Umm. Yes, you can, and they will unless they choose the censure option since Trump owns the Senate and none would dare go against him. Like Jeff Flake said, probably 35 Republicans would vote for removal IF they weren't assured of being villified and probably defeated in their deep red home states.

Every witness was in agreement over the quid pro quo/extortion, and Sondland tied it all up with a big red ribbon. "They were all in the loop".

They know Trump is trash, and guilty, but aren't willing to put their careers on the line.

Keep on believing the narrative, and then tell us we're all wrong as the truth emerges. Interesting how the Right narrative evolves to cover the new dirt as it emerges.

Your side is running out of excuses, and the ones you're making aren't very convincing.

Only this place can take a thread about our pension and turn it into a political argument. Good God!

So, back to the PPA. The average new FedEx employee won't be around long enough to consider "retirement" from FedEx. They'll stay for a few years until they see there is zero future and then leave. At their initial low pay and glacial pay progression "steps", few will be able to save much anyway.

Another major takeaway and a "win" for Smith in terms of cutting his worker costs. Long-term, it's a very bad decision, because it's going to turn away quality recruits, and cause the few decent employees left to leave.
Why stay at Fred's salt mine when you can make the same money performing easier work, or go elsewhere and find an employer with better benefits.

If you don't want to go to college or trade school, consider UPS if you're already at FedEx. They'll like the fact you have some professional driving experience, and will pay you well while simultaneously working you into the ground. There's a good reason you don't see many older UPS package car drivers. If they haven't gone to feeders, they've left because their bodies can no longer take it.

The loss of the PPA should be another strong indicator for all that Fred doesn't vare about the future of his employees.

Leave. ASAP.

He hasn't for the last 30 years. It just becomes more apparent with each passing year. Few will be able to save enough in their 401K's with Scrooge-like raises and excessive health insurance premiums. Working at Target is probably a much better deal nowadays.

What professional, academic or civic experience do you have that leads you to believe that the testimony up to this point would be considered hearsay?
That would take pages and pages to list them all. a better question, with a much shorter response would be, what testimony up to this point would you consider to be factual and first-hand.

The only thing that would take up pages and pages would be a listing of all the times you have boasted about your worker’s compensation/disability check/personal injury settlement on the BC!

As I thought, your memory sucks or like the typical LibTurd, you make stuff up.
I have never drawn Workers Comp or cashed in on a personal injury settlement.
But your answer pretty well proves my point.
LibTurds making s:censored2:t up and then claiming it’s factual! LOL

Thank you Lord for giving me the brains and ability to think so I’m not a LibTurd!
