As I remember MANY years ago, it was to leave enough space where you could safely go around the vehicle in front of you if they should break down. Not bad. But once you pass Integrad, you can forget all that crap and keep it short and simple for any Keter audit.
When stopped in traffic, keep one car length between you and the vehicle in front of you.
Car length of space at a stop light and always back first otherwise it was balls to the wall-anything goes.As I remember MANY years ago, it was to leave enough space where you could safely go around the vehicle in front of you if they should break down.
Maybe @rod could tell us what he was taught about this?
Here’s how it was explained to me many years ago
When stopped leave enough space between your vehicle and the one in front of you
So that if the vehicle in front of you becomes disabled you can pull around it
Not sure how that works with a set
An added benefit if somebody hits you from behind you won’t be pushed into the vehicle in front of you
Go in a hole and burry yourself you lying miserable bastardHow you were trained is exactly the method. So with a set you need to leave some space. Not 76 feet worth cause that’s silly, but enough so you can pull around.

It’s a pride thing my dad just got his 25 year circle and I will be there one day
