Follow ORION 85% or....

Is it not corporate policy that orion is to be followed 100% unless a trace break is required to make air commit times? That along with human error is where the 85% on trace number comes from?

If 100% outside of air breaks were enforced at my center there'd be tons of commercial missed and send-agains daily. System does everything but account for the real world. And what makes sense.

Would be interested to know whether that's because of a creator/user disconnect or true technological limitations.

Orion is just another obstacle to avoid. It needs to to be part of the DOKs. "What's in it, objects, ground, and Orion."

Until Orion has the same rules as drivers, it will be ineffective, inefficient, and add to "at risk behavior".

Can you be disciplined for having late air if you follow Orion 100% (sometimes it will have you deliver ground at the same delivery as the air) if your covering a route?

our center is 85%, a lot of drivers are doing like 75% but are beating the miles.
