More knowledge. The virus is spiking and is nowhere near being controlled. The UK and France, among other countries, are going back into lockdowns. The US has the highest number of cases per capita in the world, and approximately 30% of Americans won't even take a future vaccine because they don't believe in the science. We have a president who openly contradicts scientists, epidemiologists, and doctors, even those on Team Trump. He lies to encourage division, discontent, and hatred in order to benefit himself. He is the essence of evil and dishonesty. He opposes Covid testing because he knows that widespread testing would reveal even higher infection rates.
Here is my personal example of a Trumper in my RE office. He is the guy with the Dodge Ram 4x4 with 2 giant flags(1 US and 1 Trump) on the rear bumper. I'm sure you've seen plenty of these "Real Americans" who think they are patriots and Trump is the best president ever.
He believes:
1. God will protect him, so no vaccine.
2. No masks, which don't work according to him. When he goes into a store he wears a partial mask with the nose exposed, and if he is required to wear a full mask, he has one that he has slit with razor blades.
3. God has chosen Trump to be the so-called Divine Monarch, an imperfect vessel God is using as His conduit.
4. The Earth is 6,000 years old.
5. The sea levels aren't rising, but the Earth is.
6. No climate change/global warming.
7. The Constitution is a God-given document, and the Founding Fathers were directly influenced by God.
8. The Second Amendment is everything. If you want a bazooka or a personal tank, that's OK. Seriously.
9. Originalism. No Amendments are OK and the Constitution should have never been changed, ever.
10.Full GOP belief system of no unions, RTW, the ACA is socialist etc.
11. The moon landing was fake and all spacecraft landing on other planets are also fake.
12. The speed of light is variable, not constant. This "explains" why stars millions of light years away can't be more than 6,000 years old.
13. Non-whites are inferior.
14. The Bible is literal.
15. Conceal carry, even at home 24/7. He can't carry at the office, which makes him extremely angry.
And on and on. Scared, angry, and ignorant. If he doesn't get his way on November 3rd, he's already advocated violence in the streets to oppose a "rigged" election. Of course, if Trump wins, it isn't rigged. How are we as a country going to unify and conquer Covid-19 with people like this out there? There are a lot of them, and they're ignorant to the point of fomenting rebellion if the GOP and Trump get kicked out of power.
