I would tell her "thank you very much"What if your doctor started fingering your gun every time you showed up?
Only if it was premature. Keep that safety on at all timesI think you should apologize for "going off" don't you?
Thanks Baba, you just gave me a reason to like Starbucks. I might have to go there on Feb 14th just to help boost sales.Anti-Gun Group to Launch Nationwide Boycott of Starbucks
-- The National Gun Victim’s Action Council (NGAC) will lead a national boycott of Starbucks Coffee products on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, to try to change the company’s “open carry” gun policy at its locations. Starbucks currently allows guns to be openly carried by patrons in its stores in the states where it is legal to do so.
“Starbucks allowing guns to be carried in thousands of their stores significantly increases everyone's risk of being a victim of gun violence," said Elliot Fineman, CEO of the NGAC in a statement.
The NGAC says that its boycott will, “90% of the time,” reduce Starbucks stock price.
The banning of guns within any distance of schools only assures that a criminal can reasonably calculate how long they have to do anything they want without fear of being stopped.
I wish they would at least be honest and call them what they really are, which is "unarmed helpless victim zones." I guess the truth hurts too much.
They would but the words are too big for us ignorant, anti-gun liberals. We like one syllable words like "gun", "free" and "zone" And "life". Dave.

I'll be having my Valentine's coffee at Starbucks !!!
I was thinking the same thing Sober. There isnt anything wrong with those particular words, as long as you combine them with words like "fantasy", "delusion" "naive" and "wishful thinking". One-syllable words are nice and safe and easy to pronounce, but in the real world sometimes you have to think beyond single syllable buzzwords and catch phrases.
And, BTW, I dont consider you to be "anti-gun". You have valid personal reasons for not choosing to own one yourself, but I havent heard you advocating against my right to own one.

I couldn't agree with you more. I'm not sure if this is accurate or not but in my thinking, it would seem that getting angry would help control the adrenaline rush. Help keep one focused.dill,
I believe it is good advice.
Something I would add --be angry instead of scared. This has to be a learned trait and must be rehearsed over and over in your mind.
Many people in a "BAD" situation freeze up --like a deer in the headlights. If someone is breaking into your home ---get angry.
In most situations in life anger is a curse------If your life is in danger it is a blessing !!
