Seems crazy that they have to push this much. Maybe I wasn’t aware of the pushes in previous contracts, but they didn’t seem this excessive. Very strange!

Master was voted down in 1987. It was a straight 2/3 majority to vote it down back thenNo master has actually ever been voted down, they didn’t need big push to pass all of those!
Better double check that, don’t believe it went to a vote.Master was voted down in 1987. It was a straight 2/3 majority to vote it down back then

Yep... if they were pushing it hard because of the possibility of loosing customers the company would have come to negotiations with a serious offer that would leave no doubt that it would pass with flying colors....they could have thrown a few “goodies” in there that wouldn’t have cost them hardly anything but definitely sweetened the pot....Not only the IBT, but the company, Ive been kickin’ it since ‘86 and Ive NEVER SEEN the company hold teleconferences and town halls to try to sway the vote. Makes it crystal clear in my opinion that they know they’ve gotten away with something, and they want to get it finalized and passed.
He really doesn’t get it.... omgTinfoil hate Taylor couldn’t stop blaming “political agenda” on anyone who doesn’t agree with him last Saturday.

Why don't you be a man, for once, and tell everyone who's dog that really is???
They're all doing that. Obviously that's the planned defense to people sharing the truth.Tinfoil hate Taylor couldn’t stop blaming “political agenda” on anyone who doesn’t agree with him last Saturday.
You're saying all Teamsters in the country went on strike without voting on a contract? I'm not gonna pretend like I know everything but, that doesn't make sense. Respectfully.Better double check that, don’t believe it went to a vote.
