Just put in for a jcats position with a waiver 2 minutes later sm walks in and tells me I can't leave. Is this possible they can deny a position with a waiver, if so what's the point of having waivers. I want out and want out now 6 months left on my contract but might not make it that long without losing it! What can I do?

Yes. I believe the SM at your current station has to okay the transfer with a waiver. Look online tomorrow at the Policy Manual. It will tell you what the policy is.

Try pleading your case to him. Don't tell him that you might lose it if you stay. Tell him it's a hardship for you to stay.

probably cuz you've been around at least long enough to know that they can and will do whatever they want. 'Operational Needs' is the Get Out of Jail Free card for FedEx.
