The customers gambled and lost.Obviously this is their tactic, not a good one. But this is how they hope to fix the problem.
UPS customers demand answers as packages go undelivered
I know of at least 1 hr person going to "Boston" next week to help out. Other hr people are heading to other areas. We're doing just fine, here. Preload wrapping up fine for last week or so.The customers gambled and lost.
Folk still don't understand how the system becomes overwhelmed. They are still ordering online like no tomorrow. No end in sight. Once you go over the rolling stop line it is hard to recover.I know of at least 1 hr person going to "Boston" next week to help out. Other hr people are heading to other areas. Shippers continue to promise deliveries with no delays at peak. They need to start being more honest to customers.Folk still don't understand how the system becomes overwhelmed. Plus the idiots at the 800# keep telling people they can pick up their packages, no matter where it is in the system.Shippers continue to promise deliveries with no delays at peak. They need to start being more honest to customers.
@Turdferguson will have their package ready and waiting for them.Plus the idiots at the 800# keep telling people they can pick up their packages, no matter where it is in the system.

Big grievanceManagement spent their entire Sunday delivering rolled work from last week out of their cars today in my area.
UPS could throttle it back also, or warn about potential delays.Shippers continue to promise deliveries with no delays at peak. They need to start being more honest to customers.
Maybe an hour and a half as it was a tight area. I delivered a big box of wine and a couple large stops in my way back to the buildingJust curious----how long would it have taken you to run those 40 stops? I may have considered ignoring their messages, staying out and getting as many of those 40 stops delivered as I could before heading back.

Run Forrest, run.I think I may have run off as many as I could before heading in.
Not my problem at all. I laugh at rolled volume. I could care less if you do not receive your stuff. Why should online consumers care whether you guys can handle the volume or not? That's your problem----not theirs.
Especially the closer to Christmas they order. Not my problem at all. I laugh at rolled volume. I could care less if you do not receive your stuff.
