5 years at ups got you $14.45 an hour, health care, dental, vision, a pension. Plus maybe other things. Your union says “your welcome”.

I can get same or better working at wawa or the local library as a state employee. I and many others voted NO and the contract passed anyway. As of now the union can lick my balls.

I'm waiting on some hr and union people to get back to me because according to them that shouldn't have happen. If it turns out it is what it is then I'm then i'm putting in my 2 weeks as soon as I get the retro pay.

So after months of not being able to get an actual figure and basically being given the runaround as to what my pay will be after the contract goes into effect despite contacting union rep and my local multiple times and asking around other full time hourlies, the end calculation was exactly what I thought it was going to be.

Was making $13.50, now making $13.70.

Don't mind me, just venting/complaining a bit on a forum.

btw Tony Q I think you were wrong.
Yeah it sucks the IBT shafted all the sorter and skill positions.

This is why people who barely graduated high school, should not be given voting rights, much less exorbitant salaries for handling cardboard boxes.

You all got played by a bunch of guidos.

Enjoy.
