\How is this unsafe?
Well for one operating a phone and driving is illegal in my state now. Don't know about you but that in itself is a problem vs. the methods we were told to use.
Hands free is illegal?
If so, make the call to set up a meet point before you start to drive.
Your GPS is also legal and should give you audible turn by turn directions.
Or use a map before you leave.
Telling me it is unsafe to shuttle packages to drivers, get real.
It's not hands free. My "GPS" is my phone. I have to make multiple stops with multiple drivers at very specific times. You drive? I'm sure you don't have time to wait around for some kid to bring you a box or 2. A map????? Hahahaha ok geezer. I don't think I even know a person with a map.Hands free is illegal?

Boy I hope you don't have any aspirations of driving. It's not hands free. My "GPS" is my phone. I have to make multiple stops with multiple drivers at very specific times. You drive? That's the last thing my little heart desires. It's not about complaining. If I have to do all of it to run some late air for OT I don't care. It's more about the legality of it. Not trying to be a D lol.Boy I hope you don't have any aspirations of driving.

OK. Your phone gives you audible turn by turn directions.
Meet the first driver. Call the next and see where he wants to meet. Plug into your phone and go.
Repeat.
Part of the job.
Hope your phone never breaks.
Even in school, we have calculators. But we still learn math by adding and subtracting on a piece of paper first.
I know, you guys would be lost without your phone.
Oh my. Turn by turn audible directions are delayed trash...
The directions are fine. The voice over for the turn by turn is slow.Come on youngin you kids are supposed to have all the best gadgets, What piece of trash phone are you using that you can't get good directions.. my 4yr old Android smart phone gives great directions, even with offline maps(I hate to use data)
Oh my. Turn by turn audible directions are delayed trash. Even if I call the driver before hand I'm still operating my phone for the gps (since like I said, the TBT Audible sucks). "Part of the job" yeah. right. Till you show up at a designated spot and the driver already took off because they don't have time to wait all day. I'm not going to go purchase an atlas just to drop boxes to drivers. Don't get paid enough for that. I'm not saying it's difficult, it's not. I'm just saying it's not efficient or "safe" by COMPANY standards. I personally couldn't care less about using my GPS and driving.
While you're here I have a question for you. You may or may not know but, how come I, as a preloader, am able to run air to whoever but the PVD's age restriction is 21?
Doesn't matter. I know when something doesn't seem right. Even if it may be allowed. So, how long you been driving?
And if I were to run an air containing a bottle of wine? Then what?Because they may be delivering alcohol or other age restricted signature required packages.
And if I were to run an air containing a bottle of wine? Then what?
Well according to that language he was an air exception driver that day, which starts his progression. So he'll be at the air driver top rate in 2 years when he's 21 and can bid the position. Sounds like a win for him.Good God you’re dense. Right from Article 40 (you should know what that means being an expert)
