Or towing trucks back to the building because they ran out of fuel, like during Christmas? That’s the problem with cutting expenses the last few days of a quarter it just increases expenses the next quarter so you have to cut again. Idiots

Step over a dollar to pick up a dime. The ups way.Or towing trucks back to the building because they ran out of fuel, like during Christmas?
That brings back memories of my siphoning days as a teenager. I couldn't afford the 25 cent a gallon gas to run my car.Drivers are now being encouraged to bring empty milk jugs and lengths of garden hose from home so that they can scavenge for fuel out on route.
I'll never understand it.Step over a dollar to pick up a dime. The ups way.
Did I mention I’m not joking.Saturday ground canceled, enjoy your 3 day weekend.
@Brown287 mentioned it is back on but I choose to believe you both despite the paradox.Did I mention I’m not joking.
So Monday would be a good day to call off?Did I mention I’m not joking.
Good question, depends if they adjust the dispatch and if deals are made for Tue-Saturday guys to come in Monday instead of this Saturday. So Monday would be a good day to call off?
We don't have enough package cars to put in the road to accommodate all of those extra routes on a Monday. All the spares are red tagged or don't have any fuel.Good question, depends if they adjust the dispatch and if deals are made for Tue-Saturday guys to come in Monday instead of this Saturday.
It was first mentioned to us by our BA....reached out to our center manager for verification and he said that yes it was the plan but after 40+ minutes of discussion on a conference call that it was shelved cause of all the logistical implications.@Brown287 mentioned it is back on but I choose to believe you both despite the paradox.
One of the center managers in our building was calling drivers. It was first mentioned to us by our BA....reached out to our center manager for verification and he said that yes it was the plan but after 40+ minutes of discussion on a conference call that it was shelved cause of all the logistical implications.
I guess we wait and see. Lol
Yes, you know, the ones that pay the bills.
View attachment 241735 View attachment 241736 We can piss away a billion dollars on a useless ORION system but we are so desperate to retain the illusion of profitibility on the quarterly financial report that we cannot put fuel in the cars on Friday, and we screw our customers over by closing the Customer Counter 5 hours early and on Saturday.
UPS used to be a company you could take pride in working for.
Now its a joke.
Tomorrow would be better. Make them pay you a sick day plus pay someone to run your route........lolSo Monday would be a good day to call off?
