wow guys going full-time in under a year , UPS really pushing these 22.4 positions and locking down that low pay rate

Our first round of 22.4’s were hired in august, they are all rpcd’s now

It's just shouldn't be done on a recurring (or regular) basis. That could be a new FT job.


Your management team has not done you any favors, by letting you do it, as long as they did.

You got used to the windfall of top dollar.... without the consequences of being a FT driver.

That windfall is only a $1.50/hr more than my PT rate. I feel I was the one doing them a favor by bailing them out of a tight spot.

There was never any intention of having these employees inside, it was just worded that way so that the union could say they got more FT jobs and the company can put drivers on the road at a discoounted rate.

Just goes to show you that every center is different. At my center our 22.4’s beg for layoffs everyday. They run them into the ground.

Hang out every day ( if possible) near the office, someone will eventually ask if you want to do their route for the day or heck just ask around-lol ( as long as the Sup says it’s ok), you should be good to go... it’s not always possible, but if you wanna work...
