Dude it’s signature required. Where does it say the customer has to sign? Just scribble on the screen and type in the last name on the package and hand it to the kids. Roll on. Gotta stay under 9.5 driver!
I remember once having a six or seven year old sign for a delivery. Was not an adult sig only. Had to help her with her letters but got it done. Also remember having a middle age lady admit to me that she could not write her name. Had her look at the label and print her name.Dude it’s signature required. Once a month a guy gets a cooler of food delivered and it's always sig req so I have to sign my name for the guy because he has no hands. The first time I ever delivered to him I set the cooler down ready to service cross it and heard the door open, so without looking I said "Just need your signature" as I reach out the diad. He just raised up his two nubs and looked at me....I felt like such a pos.I remember once having a six or seven year old sign for a delivery. Was not an adult sig only. Got it. Will demand ID from people over twice my age.

The truth is the guy could probably tie his shoes, brush his teeth and drive a car with those nubsOnce a month a guy gets a cooler of food delivered and it's always sig req so I have to sign my name for the guy because he has no hands. So I just got a Thinkpad that was signature required, it prompted me with the usual screen you see when delivering booze “Must be age 21”.. uhhh what?
Which leads me to something I’ve been curious about, how often do you guys actually check for ID when delivering alcohol? I never have, but that’s only because everyone I deliver that stuff to is older than dirt.
Actually it is. That being said, I'm not sure I ever asked for one.I got a complaint from a mom once, cuz I got a sig from a 19 year old daughter. Told my center manager I'm not asking for IDs, not my job.
I had to deny an 18 year old dude his porn. He and his GF chillin when the porn delivery came. Told them 21 an older only. Sorry.

If she can put the letter X on the board and note "her mark" that goes back MANY years when not everyone knew how to write, and was accepted as a valid signature.I remember once having a six or seven year old sign for a delivery. I’ve checked a few times legitimately. And 100% of the time if it’s a milf.

I had legal documents for a 19 year old that was suing someone. She was really nice about the whole ordeal. I told her to make sure she had someone over 21 there to sign the next dayI had a computer set a year ago, that was over 21 required. The homeowner was home and he was 20. I asked him if there was a reporter doing a story on shippers checking IDs for a news story and would I end up on the news.
I just brought back a package from 45 min away last night for 3rd attempt because of no adult.I let anyone sign , I let a 10 year old kid sign for a case of booze one time. The following day the customer gave me a $20 tip cause it was the 3rd attempt.
never saw anyone get fired in 15 years , I take care of my customers and they take care of me..Not worth a 6 figure job to get someone their booze
"Actually, UPS is starting a new thing. Just print your first name and phone number"All the girls sign for their packages.
