Everybody knows the beast, that is why so many people are afraid...This current stock market crisis just gives those on the corporate levels more justification to meat cleaver more jobs and perks in order to justify their high level positions (and salaries).

Prepare yourselves to be (Transformed)...:beafraid:

Just have grievance forms ready when they layoff low drivers and give you more stops to stay out in “total exposure “ to the public.

This is bad. We are in a recession. They laid off 6 preluders and 12 drivers. I’m in a hub with 70 dispatched routes and a preload/local sort of about 20ish a piece. Supply chain failure. Volume way down
Depends on location, we are hiring more drivers as of now. We’ve gone from roughly 65 routes a day to right around 90 in just the last 6 months. Are problems aren’t volume it’s keeping 22.4’s.

Then why in the world is ups hiring all these full time 22.4 positions? And the pension and health care obligations that come along with them. There isn’t enough packages to support this lunacy. We have people here not even a half of a year going full time.

It’s not going to matter as UPS is going to buy out Teamsters next contract. We will all be offered our jobs back, same pay rate but no more pension or free healthcare.

It's a scheduled off bonanza in Louisville. Trying to recoup all that money they paid out during peak season. Around 15-25 scheduled offs in my area M-T only. I just don't see the slow down here.

Waiting to put the re in front of tired
Coca cola on one side of the truck, Budweiser on the other side. Local event promotions on the back door. Add a jumbo Tron to the side, broadcast the big game.
Put a WiFi hotspot on the roof, sell subscriptions like Sirius. Lots of possibilities.

Gotta think outside the cardboard box.
C'mon man!!

You would deliver exactly 0 without IE

IE buncha clowns. We had one in our building years ago for a few days when I was in package. Guy was such a weirdo and was terrified to look any of us in the face. Anytime he had to come out from the janitors closet he was working in, ibefore the PCM, he always walked briskly with his head down. I think he was afraid he was gonna get jumped.

That’s nice

hows it going to get to your building to “just get put on the truck”?

Lol it wouldn’t even get out of the origin sort without IE
I couldn’t care less if the sheet gets moved or not. I’m getting my 8 regardless. I’ll sit around in the break room all day with my feet up, like we do at peak when they give our loads to coyotes.
