I believe this is a California tree frog. That's a pistachio shell next to them.

This snapping turtle was right in the middle of the highway. Had to pull over and escort him across.

I think it’s a caracara. I’d never heard of them before, much less seen one. It’s a type of falcon. There were three of them fishing in a puddle.
