We do not have to pick anything. If our union "bosses" are lazy and apathetic, so should the membership.

And by the way, I do subscribe to the fact that the "lazy" union mentality, at least under the past 70 years or so of unions in America, , is usually more effective.

If locals take 'lawful' action, then it draws attention to UPS. Brand shame goes a long way. Low morale towards the company and high hope for collective action go a long way towards how efficient the operations are.

UPS will continue to do whatever UPS wants to do. I guess just take their money and smile.
I wouldn't say the membership "should" be. However I think that is the result that they are going to get.
It is now legally on record that they are not on board. If someone were to get in an accident, or member or general public lose lives. Makes lawsuits against ups easier.

O'Brien sent a letter to the company stating JC10 would fight UPS with every legal measure available. It's sounding like the company backed down, at least in 251.
