Trump says may give nomination speech from White House
"We're thinking about it. It would be the easiest from the standpoint of security," Trump told Fox News.

The August 27 speech, the biggest formal moment in the candidate's campaign for a second term in office,
was originally planned for a mass gathering of Republican Party faithful in Charlotte, North Carolina.
That had to be scrapped due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Trump said on Fox News that logistics and costs were his primary concern.
"It's a very big operation," he said. "We're thinking about doing it from the White House because there's no movement.
It's easy. And I think it's a beautiful setting." It's "by far the least expensive from the country standpoint," he said.

US President Donald Trump may accept the Republican Party's nomination from the presidential residence.

I like it because it will send the LibTurds into conniption fits! LOL

Pelosi
, said overtly political events aren't held at the Capitol or the White House and accused Trump of trying to divert attention from his handling of the coronavirus.

"He can't do that. You can't do that," she said on MSNBC.

The Hatch Act limits the ability of federal government employees to participate in partisan political activity ...
... though the President and Vice President are exempt.

Makes sense ... people that would vote for Trump had to go to bed because they had to get up for work.
Biden voters don't have that problem since they don't have jobs.

An estimated 19.9 million Americans watched Trump's speech on television,
while Democratic nominee Joe Biden drew 21.7 million viewers the week before.
Most of the Trump supporters around here are the unemployed welfare mooches .
