This is only makes sense if you believe in the all powerful left that controls everything including huge big tech companies. Since I don’t believe that insane bs, I understand that Parler was taken out by private companies who really only care about money not left politics.
Yah, they hid the Hunter Biden story from liberal voters because they only care about money.

what are you talking about? I searched hunter Biden’s name in a simple google search, the first search page results are reporting from CNN, ny post, nbc news, ap news, politico, Fox News, bbc.com, Washington post, CNBC, New York Times, the New Yorker, Wall Street journal, Chicago tribune. All of them are about Ukraine and or the fbi probe into Ukraine, the idea that hunter Biden has been hidden is just pure fantasyland conspiracy bs. Every discussion with republican voters about American society runs into the republican voter delusion problem.

yields starkly different results

Another conspiracy theory. Every discussion with republican voters runs into the republican voter delusion issue. Everything is a conspiracy, they believe just about every major institution in America is out to get them.
No theory about it. When the NY Post came out with their Hunter Biden laptop story before the election Facebook and Twitter killed the story on their platforms. The major news networks wouldn't report on it either other than FOX.

They can’t kill a story they didn’t create. Smh. Anyone could search out that story it existed on the ny post website. It existed on internet searches. Stop believing bs man. Damn. Facebook and Twitter want users, they need users, they have no interest in getting rid republican users. will you deal with reality?

this was reported in the New York Times on October about this New York post story.

The New York Post’s front-page article about Hunter Biden on Wednesday was written mostly by a staff reporter who refused to put his name on it, two Post employees said.
Bruce Golding, a reporter at the Rupert Murdoch-owned tabloid since 2007, did not allow his byline to be used because he had concerns over the article’s credibility, the two Post employees said, speaking on the condition of anonymity out of fear of retaliation

This axios reporting on the New York post story

Facebook and Twitter's frantic attempts to stop the spread of the New York Post's Hunter Biden story didn't prevent the article from becoming the top story about the election on those platforms last week, according to data from NewsWhip.

Why it matters: The data shows that even swift, aggressive content suppression may not be swift or aggressive enough to keep down a story with as much White House backing and partisan fuel as this one.

By the numbers: The Post's story generated 2.59m interactions (likes, comments, shares) on Facebook and Twitter last week — more than double the next biggest story about Trump or Biden.

  • 5 of the 10 biggest stories were about the Hunter Biden story, the fallout, or how Facebook and Twitter reacted.
  • It was the 6th-most engaged article this month, trailing pieces like Trump testing positive for COVID-19 and Eddie Van Halen's death.
  • 83% of the interactions happened on Facebook, with the other 17% on Twitter.

Do you think Twitter wants to be regulated by the government?

This is documented fact. Before the election liberal social media, liberal tv networks, and liberal newspapers refused to carry or comment on the NY Post's story. A poll was taken of Democrats after the election and 17% said they wouldn't have voted for Biden if they had known about the laptop scandal. You can deny all you want but those are the facts. The only person around here living in a fantasy world is you amigo. Well, @bacha29 too but he got hit in the head a lot when he was a kid. :)

From the New York Times from Twitter and Facebook.
Hours after the Post published its article, Facebook said on Wednesday that it had decided to limit the distribution of the story on its platform so it could fact-check the claims. Twitter said it was blocking the article because it included people’s personal phone numbers and email addresses, which violated their privacy rules, and because the article violated their policy on hacked materials.

Lol, so it doesn’t bother you that the writer of the story wouldn’t put his name to it because he didn’t believe the story? The story itself is a fantasyland story that the writer didn’t even believe. How can one defend publishing a story that the author didn’t believe? The rest of that is more conspiracy nonsense about a poll.

That’s not my opinion that’s the reason given by Twitter, but who cares, the man who wrote the story didn’t believe it. What else is there to say about it? The man who wrote the story didn’t believe it. So what are you all talking about? most people who read the story if informed that by the way the man who wrote this article doesn’t believe it and wouldn’t attach his name to it, the story would have zero credibility to everyone.
