Well, had to refill Peter's bird bath today, and while I was it it, checked out his nest.
2 eggs in it.
Now, I'm just wondering if Peter is long gone and the future mother took over or what ?
And the bird still flys away everytime I enter or leave the door, even though I'm so nice to him/her/them

A sparrow ran into one of our windows. I don't know if it has a broken wing or what. It lives in a box right now and we are trying to nurse it back to health. Wish us luck

I'm thinking hamburger meat !
Made me look in the nest now, - like always - the bird flew away once I opened the door.
I looked in the nest - 2 tiny babies in it, and one egg unhatched .
I'm actually surprised the mother leaves her own "kids" when she feels danger.
She should be always there defending them instead.
But, nature is nature.

I get attacked by some of those sparrows when I dr packages. Damn things swoop down and chase me back to the truck.

I wouldn't even worry about that now ! - Seems they make up for it quickly !
MY 2 juniours left the nest last week, and I was wondering why there is still a bird sitting in the nest now.
So, I just took a look - ANOTHER 5 eggs in it !
Now, I need to wonder - same bird, or did they sell the "house" and let others in ?
