State of Emergency in Virginia

Listen gramps.
All you have to do is look at the affidavit released by Charlottesville chief of police prior to this rally. Look at the groups listed as participants, and google for two freaking minutes. Self-described "alt-right fight clubs" with implicitly stated motives of fighting on the streets against people who oppose them.

This wasn't just a group of people exercising their 2nd amendment rights. They brought riot gear. Stick your head back down in the sand if you want grandpa, but it doesn't change the facts.
Maybe if all I watched was CNN and MSNBC, I would realize you are just repeating what you heard there.
Fortunately, I branch out although still watching MSNBC and CNN.
Anderson was funny tonight.

How's that now? These people are self described Nazis. Mr. Burgandy even agreed after viewing the ads for the event. How is calling a bunch of Nazis Nazis racist?
Try reading it again ...
"why is it it is fine for black lives matter protesters to assemble, and if white people do it it's a major hate crime...."

I could be as inane as you and post a video of the Antifa with masks, baseball bats, etc. ... but it wouldn't matter.
You only believe what you already believe.
What should I believe @Monkey Butt ? The KKK and Nazis are peaceful loving groups? That Heather Heyer deserved to die? That racism and bigotry doesn't exist? That Drumpf actually believes the words he spoke today? Tell me, what should I believe?

Strength through joy
“Let’s start with the fact this whole thing was kicked off because of an attempt to take down a monument to Robert E. Lee,” D’Souza told WND. “Here’s the irony: Robert E. Lee was the most decorated soldier in the U.S. Army. He was a man of unimpeachable integrity. Lincoln offered him command of the Union Army, but Lee refused only because his loyalty was to Virginia. Lee opposed both secession and slavery.

“And yet to the historically illiterate left, a man who opposed both slavery and secession has come to symbolize both slavery and secession.”

That racism and bigotry doesn't exist?
That Drumpf actually believes the words he spoke today?
Tell me, what should I believe.
Finally you recognize you need to get it from an honest source. :teethy:

The KKK and Nazis are peaceful loving groups?
---Don't believe that. They are full of hate and they are racist ... I would never have anything to do with these type of people.

That Heather Heyer deserved to die?
---Who knows? Her as an individual did not deserve to die. As a participant in a group that marched to oppose Nazis and White Supremacists, she put herself in harms way. Actions have repercussions.

That racism and bigotry doesn't exist?
--- Definitely don't believe that. I have never met a person I did not consider racist or a bigot ... especially the ones who swear they aren't.

That Drumpf actually believes the words he spoke today?
--- I have no idea anymore than anyone else other than Trump.

I did the best I can but I have learned to not make assumptions.
Thanks for the opportunity to answer these questions.
I'll be glad to answer more if you have them.

Three CEOs resign from one of Trump's business councils.
How many more will bail?

The chief executives of Intel Corp, Merck & Co Inc and Under Armour Inc resigned from U.S. President Donald Trump's American Manufacturing Council on Monday, following Trump's initially tepid response to weekend violence at a rally of white supremacists in Charlottesville, Virginia.

We were 20 some pages into a discussion about a specific group of Nazis. I know you get lost sometimes, just look at the thread title when you're confused.
