You libs want to look back and claim he should have shut down the country. But the science didn't show that as being necessary at the time. Mostly because they were working off of fake data from communist China.

Your blame is misplaced, you're just trying to score political points.

Except China had already shut down a city/region of more than 60 million people. And since when does the US depend on China to base it's decisions on????? You should be blaming Trump for listening to China if you really think he was basing decisions on advice from them. Next you will be praising Trump for taking orders from Putin. ooops- too late for that. Maybe he'll base decisions on Naval war Games based on North Korea not liking them, and you will disagree with him for that. OOPS again. He already did that and you still wait to kisss his boots.

The US coordinates with the world health organization at the beginning of an outbreak. That is the plan set up by the pandemic response team during the Obama administration. We were lied to by China and the world health organization.

Do you think JoE Biden on March 7 got any briefings from NSA or CIA on the covid situation. That would be NO. But DEAR LEADER got many alarming reports that he wanted to WISH away...

Comes right back to the same historic question: "What did the president know and when did he know it"?
via the Times:
"Throughout January, as Mr. Trump repeatedly played down the seriousness of the virus and focused on other issues, an array of figures inside his government — from top White House advisers to experts deep in the cabinet departments and intelligence agencies — identified the threat, sounded alarms and made clear the need for aggressive action."

In January, when we had no cases, the WHO was colluding with China to cover up their outbreak, and our nation's top scientists were saying the flu was worse.

Are you ignorant or lying on purpose?

rubbish HHS secretary, Alex M. Azar II, directly warned Mr. Trump of the possibility of a pandemic during a call on Jan. 30, the second warning he delivered to the president about the virus in two weeks. The president, who was on Air Force One while traveling for appearances in the Midwest, responded that Mr. Azar was being alarmist.

"...as the deadly virus spread from China with ferocity across the United States between late January and early March, large-scale testing of people who might have been infected did not happen — because of technical flaws, regulatory hurdles, business-as-usual bureaucracies and lack of leadership at multiple levels, according to interviews with more than 50 current and former public health officials, administration officials, senior scientists and company executives."

While I don't blame him for cutting off US support for the WHO nevertheless the WHO wasn't his ONLY source of intelligence inside China regarding COVID . Now instead of blaming the first person , news outlet, governor or government agency that comes to his head for the slow response it's time for him to man up and confront the crisis first hand.

He has been from day one, while liberal media attacks the United States and covers for China to score political points.
