Hire the best hackers in the world to protect the site, and then allow everyone to log online with their social security number to cast a vote.

Every American by now has a social security number, which is your proof of citizenship and age. Having everyone wait in line for hours on one day to cast a vote for one figurehead vs another (while the oligarchs run the show regardless of who wins) is not very innovative for one of the "greatest countries".
