Unfortunately you cannot transfer from one to the other until you retire.

Don't beat yourself up---you are much further along than most of your co-workers by simply funding your 401k.

I'm only worried about going all in on the Roth because it'll raise my taxable income. That might be why I had decided to split between them.

I have an uncle that is a private investor. Works out of his home and does VERY well. I need to get with him.
Yeah I have an uncle that's the same way. He has a job and just toys with it on the side though.

Made enough this past year that he paid cash for a Colorado mountain top vacation home.

Everytime we get together we discuss investing.
