Will someone in the local 407 area please let us in on the legislation that apparently local 407 only knows about. Whereas legislation was passed to protect non-profit health plans like Central States from the Affordable Care Act. I know of no such legislation but yet we are being asked to vote yes on the Ohio Rider without any attempt by the leaders of Ohio to address our concerns about said health plan. Ohio can address insurance and local 348's letter of understanding proves it. So, since 407 seems to keep voting for the Ohio Rider, common sense tells me that they must know something that we don't or they simply aren't keeping up with Hoffa's letters to the Democratic party.
