They put it all the names into a hat and drew a name out and it was the lowest seniority guy.

Yes you're right. It's 1 out of 7 for you. What it really is is 1 out of 8 for us. 6 inside, 1 transfer and 1 company pick.

It was 3-1 when I started too. But back then UPS required PT sups to spend a couple of months driving before getting promoted to full time so that was most of the company picks. Not nearly as many off the street hires.

We only have "drivers" in my local. Package car or Feeder.
