Change the current accident reporting structure by creating a fourth tier, with "tier one" being limited to cracked mirrors, paint scratches, or other sub-$50 incidental damage. Tier One "accidents" would not be subject to the OJS rides, investigation, discipline or mandatory assessments and acronym regurgition that "real" accidents are given. Quit spending $1500 worth of time and effort on $8 mirrors or scratches that require nothing more than touch up paint.

Eliminate the position of Center Manager and instead give the PDS a clerk or admin assistant to write warning letters and do the pcms and other busywork. I see no reason to pay management wages to a "Center Manager" who isnt even allowed to make an operational decision.

To all: As yo
u may know, many employees will be receiving increased pay in the future of this contract. That means we need to increase profits by cutting the fat to pay for it.

For discussion: What would you cut to save money and why ? Please be as detailed as possible.

Have an audit. Watch the dead weight that shows up to do it. Fire them first.

I think the company should cut their probationary/qualification system and re-write it. It costs thousands of dollars to train employees and to disqualify them for little things is a waste of money. Those that get disqualified or don't make their probation should be given notice to increase performance and given more training/guidance before they are let go.

Performance is not recognized. Read your contract book.

It would be nice if a moderator could move all the juvenile banter to the "meaningless fluff" folder so that this thread could stay on topic.
