point to a country which has good outcomes and anything close to a privatized system while remaining affordable and universal
im not sure there is one. u have the most expensive healthcare in the world. is it the most inefficient?

actually its just capitalism which incentivizes people to not work hard. im paid by the hour regardless of being unionized or not. im going to do only enough effort to keep my job. some people work hard maybe because of how they view capitalism and work. alot of guys at my job did not work hard including myself. its natural and it made more sense to me than the guys that ran around with their heads cut off.A union is a socialist organization. That’s how they operate. Two people start a job same day, for the rest of their careers they will be paid the same. Even if one is the best worker and the other is the worst worker. Union’s are socialist organizations and those who don’t work hard like unions. They can be lazy and still get paid. See teachers and cops.
haha YOURE ONE TO TALKYou need to realize your don't know what socialism is.
Walmart.comWhere did you copy and paste this from?
Sanders admitted his Medicare for all plan would raise taxes $10,000 for the average family, but insisted they would save money from lower healthcare costs. Since we don't pay 10k a year in healthcare costs, well, you can figure that one out.
im going to do only enough effort to keep my job.
its not a problem. UPS doesnt keep its customers happy they have terrible google reviews where im from. i dont want to get in trouble with customers at my job either. doesnt mean im gonna work any harder than i have to. i dont get rewarded for working harder. There’s a problem in a nutshell.
Personally I’m going to do enough to keep my customers happy. Every penny of pay and benefits come from them. And, no, my head is not cut off lol.
im canadian and we got no paperwork. you bring govt id and thats it. i do drop in clinic and the docs are good. but i think its hard to get a regular doctor here. i broke my arm and they almost gave me next day surgery, ended up not needing it. sometimes its a wait to see specialists, but none of my conditions are emergencies. docs are well paid. nurses make probably 90k with no ot plus pension.I’m not a socialized medicine proponent but in my local the company contributes over $1700 a month per driver to the fund our Healthcare Trust which 100% pays the cost of premiums for our coverage. In a Medicaid For All world I would say we would then have $1700/month on the table that should the be used to benefit us some other way, perhaps simply in higher wages to compensate for the higher taxes, perhaps in higher contributions to pension plans. The fact that our plan is 100% paid for does not make it “free”, it’s still a big part of our total compensation.
The problem is that everyone is arguing about who is going to pay for what and no one is talking about the real problem which is the exorbitant cost of health care (the actual services not the cost of insurance). We pay way way way-y-y more of our GNP into healthcare than anyone else, we lead the league. All the current talk on health care seems like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
I avoid the doctor unless I am forced simply because I dread the shower of bills and paperwork that will follow any use of any medical service. It’s Jeckel and Hyde.. the care givers are generally awesome (with exceptions of course) but the business office end of any type of medical provider is a different story and the insurance company claims people may in fact, I feel, be Lucifer’s cousins. The current system is built to baffle and screw over the consumer. I think the big hospital chains, Big insurance companies (I’m looking at you Aetna!) want to keep it that way so they can keep milking this cow.

northern neighbour hahaThank you, my neighbor to the east! Informative on Canada system. As I said I have lot of reservations about government run health care but I’m willing to talk about almost anything as I would rate the current system we have here as something between “completely broken” and “dumpster fire”.
I mean, if you like Medicare or Medicaid, you'll love it, and I did in fact love my Medicaid. In any case, won't the federal government do M4A, though? If you like your state run DMV, then you will love single payer health insurance. They are the same people who will run M4A.

Unions predate socialism and capitalism.A union is a socialist organization. That’s how they operate. Two people start a job same day, for the rest of their careers they will be paid the same. No I am to your west, my friend. To your north west actually.northern neighbour haha
all the guys i listen to are very much in favor of it, but its seems like america may be exhibiting signs of a failed state.
i think 70% of americans want it now. so thats good.
ill try and get back to you what i pay in taxes. ours is cheaper than yours. i think the way it works when govt pays for programs is it can just print the money, or tax, or borrow. No I don’t think 70% of Americans are for socialized health care but I think at least that many think what we have now is a nightmare. But tell me, Canada, I already see one dollar in every four go to the government. How much are you forking over for “free” health care?
alaska? No I am to your west, my friend. To your north west actually.
I pay plenty. Naw let's just have a war and settle it. I'm for that.If you dont want to pay taxes and contribute, you have the freedom to leave. I'll help you pack!
He doesn't pay anything for his "free" healthcare because he is a leech on society. No I don’t think 70% of Americans are for socialized health care but I think at least that many think what we have now is a nightmare. Everyone needs to pay attention to this statement because it is what liberals actually believe.i think the way it works when govt pays for programs is it can just print the money, or tax, or borrow.
