My thoughts, if management get the video they could easily start discipline for having earbuds in both ears causing him to not hear the siren as quickly as he should have.

many drivers including myself, and supervisors walk around in my building with an Air Pod in. Every day. No one says a word unless it’s 2.

I'd have just said. "Doing as I was trained sir. Any questions or concerns call 1800 pick ups." And just kept walking.

Who knows, but he should have kept his mouth shut...

We didn't see enough of the video, he may have just stopped, and realized the emergency ambulance was there, in NYC there is rarely a time you don't hear an ambulance, he may have thought it was not on his street, until he looked out the passenger side..

Bottom line, keep your mouth shut, cameras are everywhere. We had a guy make a stupid comment to himself about the customer while waiting for a signature at a house, and Doorbell camera recorded him... next day has to deal with the complaint with management, nothing serious, but just goes to show, keep your mouth shut.

Seemed to take place in Brooklyn, NY.

NY is a one-party State.

But, if this happened in a two-party State, yes, that is a crime and he can be prosecuted.

Last time I looked, there were 11 two-party States.
