Just to set the record straight, EVERYBODY in this state knows about the gas leak, this isnt breaking news, but the city and county of los angeles has to ASK the governor for the state of emergency FIRST, before he can declare ANYTHING.

The governor can only act AFTER the city and county request help from the governor. Governors dont declare anything on their own, just like Presidents dont declare anything until the STATES ask them to first.

The gas leak is a disaster to the communities, and by the way, its near MY home, so dont pretend to know more about this situation than I do.

There is a lot more going on than you could possibly know about.
