Please name at least one legitimate reason why you would need to have your cell phone with you while you are supposed to be WORKING.

Sometimes we need to get in contact with other members of our building including supes and what have you. I've had to look stuff up for customers and in one case call the police. We arent all children around here

Our building uses walkie-talkies to communicate with one another and the land line to look stuff up for customers and to call the police.

Actually I'm very pleasant but I have a very low tolerance for BS. Having been in mid/upper management for a Japanese based company for 17+ years prior to my UPS career,I find UPS management to be,not very good. Most of them are good at being UPS management,that's all.


So finding out I could cuss a sup that was being a piece of carp,heck yes.As long as you never threatened or made the cussing personal(calling them gay,et.al.) then a good old cussing was permissible.

As I stated in previous post, supposedly said something inappropriate to guard in security, not management. Also, if they are going to terminate for this offense, then management should held to the same standards.

Yes they should.

Same thing with cheating, lying and stealing.

I'm sure you are well aware that there are two different sets of rules. One for us and one for them.

I have always said that this is why it is, and always will be, an "us vs. them" mentality.

If the rules were the same for both, it would be a whole lot better of an employer-employee relationship.

You'll get your job back for sure...I called my full time a bitch and got terminated for unfit to work and something else..? Don't remember... But I got my job back a month later with no back pay though...didn't really care cause I went to the casino my first week off and won 3k haha
