I make my own cannabutter using the method of Slow Cooker in @Turds post.
Use cannabutter in place of regular butter.

The key to making cannabutter and brownies or anything else where heat is applied, don't get the temp over 275° friend ... 250° to be safe.

I don't fix brownies often ... below is how I make edibles.

I buy two types of snack bars -
one for flavor (I like banana, coconut and nuts)
one for bulk - I typically use Chocolate Chip granola or oatmeal bars
Nutella
Add cannabutter to get the strength you want ... I like it strong plus I make my cannabutter strong.
Smash the two bars together add nutella ... mash some more.
Add cannabutter and mash and mix it in well.
Refrigerate and it's good to go.

The cannabis needs a heat source of 200° to 250° to release the cannabis cannabinoids (just like when you smoke or vape it).
I vape at 400° to release just the THC, other cannabinoids and terpenes without burning the combustibles.

Note: If you vape, there's probably some good stuff left ... you can use this (just lots more of it) to make cannabutter.
