I really hope he wasn't talking about the tax situation with the 401k/IRA. Because the way you've explained it you're gonna take a big tax hit.

With all due respect he's and Edwards Jones lackey that passed a few corporate tests. I'm not too worried about his opinion.

If it will let you sleep better we are planning on rolling it over to a Traditional Roth so there will be no tax hit.

We are also planning on investing the proceeds from the sale of my condo in to a separate account.

SS will be delayed until at least 67, preferably until 70.

He is actually very confident about my position and told me that I need to relax.

BTW, this "lackey" has forgotten more about finances than you will ever know. He handles a total of $50M in assets, which is huge for this little area. I have complete confidence in him while I wouldn't trust you to know how to break a twenty.

So the guy is richer than a Texas oil man? If he's so good with money, he should have plenty of it. Delaying SS 'til 70!!!:surprised::lol::greedy::eek::hang::dead:

I think you just got the wording wrong. Traditional IRA?

Traditional Roth doesn't make any sense.
