I supported the OP who wanted to take the day off to help his parents move.

I plan on flying my son back home next summer to help me move and to visit family and friends while he is here. It would be tough for me to move the big stuff without help and I want to spend time with him.

It is none of his business what I or anyone else does with their personal time.

He should be more concerned with the ugly bows that his wife insists on putting on the baby.

I've been trying to be nice, Dave, but you make it difficult. I don't think anyone in this thread does or ever did say anything disparaging about your grandchildren or how their parents dress them.
