It's one of the reasons for high pay here in Cali. Less corruption among the CO's.

Corruption is not a huge concern here, although it does happen.
The main problem we had was complacency and guards taking short cuts, like signing off on the 1 am bed checks from the comfort of their desks.

How do you think drugs and contraband get into a prison? Corruption is a problem in every prison.

No but as I said my brother-in-law worked in one.
My sister also worked in the pharmacy of one.

Yeah I'm not talking about embezzlement. Someone has to be paid off to either facilitate or look the other way to smuggle drugs and contraband in.

Its not just employees involved. People can get very creative about smuggling things in.

There are always going to be some people like that. Not very many in the prisons around here but probably in others they might be the majority.

I am looking forward to relocating upon retirement but am not looking forward to moving.
