Mind you - I load trailers in the evenings, so I don't have any first hand knowledge of required uniforms. The only things they require us twilight guys to have is boots. That said, from what I read here, it seems folks have to buy their own uniforms (socks is a frequent topic). Is that not accurate? If you don't have to buy your own uniforms, then I apologize and admit my mistake.
That said, many discussions with folks in my hub that have been there a long time have revealed that UPS used to give out hats, shirts, gloves, all kinds of different things to the employees. However, over the last few years, all of that has gone away. My hub doesn't give out anything, which is a shame really. You'd be surprised how far something as simple as a shirt or gloves goes for employee morale. Granted, there is an argument to be made as for the cost to the company for those items, and one could say "well, you come in and work, you get paid...and that's the end of it"....and of course there is always the question of the company actually giving aabout morale. I can see the mentality of "who cares if people are happy - so long as the work is getting done, screw 'em".
That is the only thing drivers have to buy "Oh My Socks!!" That's why its the only thing complained about. Any my paycheck makes me happy
Considering the amount of people out of work before this virus, I think my job at UPS is pretty sweet. But I don't expect everything for nothing. Work hard and at least my paycheck shows it and its better than being in that unemployment line that so many people are in these days.

I believe because of the proof. I believe the evidence of the existence of God. You deny the plain evidence.
There is no logical explanation of the creation without the existence of God. Our creation is a cosmos, not a chaos. Order is everywhere. Design is everywhere, that demands a designer. There is no explanation of the orderly arrangement of everything from the universe to the human body without the belief that God designed it.
The existence of life itself points to the existence of God. No one has been able to show that life can come from the random collision of nonliving elements. Science has shown that all life comes from previously living things. A rock can't produce a worm. All living things come from previously living things.
When there was no life, there would always be no life because something (life) cannot come from nothing (non-life). The existence of a God is the most logical explanation of the creation which exists.
The conscience of man and moral values point to the existence of God. Everybody has a conscience. Where did it originate? Your conscience come from a rock, a turkey, or even a monkey? Probably.

I accept the evidence. I come to conclusions that are necessary( forced, no other way it can go)conclusions.
Because of the evidence and the necessary conclusions of these things and a million other things, I believe. Yes, I have faith, but not in things not seen or understood(dead or blind faith), but in things seen and understood by reason and logic. A faith that is based on reality and fact.
