That's a great example of fear mongering clickbait mainstream media. Let's put that in proper context:

Brigham and Women's Hospital -- 45
18000 employees

Massachusetts General Hospital -- 41
25000 employees

Boston Medical Hospital -- 15
5000 employees

101 out of 48000 employees
CNN fails to mention those numbers. SMH
Just to clear up the math. Massachusetts 1 in 3,700 affected, Boston hospital employee 1 in 475 affected. News worthy?

It's the virus loading in these hospitals and facilities that is doing in Italy, a lesser degree Spain and now the US particularly NYC. If you can't escape that loading, no matter your age or health, it's not going to be a good outcome.

What you fail to mention is that testing isn't widely available. Indeed, most states won't even test you unless you have dire symptoms or are hospitalized. That means there are no valid numbers.

In other words, you don't know what you're talking about. The chances are very high that both deaths and cases are much higher than reported rather than lower, based upon the previously mentioned lack of testing.

You are unbelievable.

So the infection rate is what, 0.02% vs 0.002%. Seems pretty good.

News worthy?
To fear monger like they're doing, no.
To show appreciation to healthcare workers, sure, that's not what they're doing though.

Confirmed cases and deaths in Georgia.
COVID-19 Confirmed Cases No. Cases (%)
Total 1525 (100%)
Hospitalized 473(31.02%)
Deaths
48 (3.15%)

Staggering #'s..poor health/obesity, hypertension, less effective HC, less doctors , etc.. Not good.
