1,477 dead Americans. Almost 97,000 infected. No signs of slowing. The Deep South states are slowly becoming the epicenter. Next week the Deep South will be devastated.

US is first in the world for corona virus pandemic cases, but to be fair it has a large population so they should measure the number of cases per 1000 people.
US has also tested more people. Doesn't mean more total infected. Just more confirmed cases.

And do you believe the numbers China is reporting?

1,513 dead Americans. There’s now an American dying every minute from Trump Flu. If that dope had grounded all international flights in Jan. we wouldn’t be in this mess.
I'll bet you are one of those people who have lost all their social media friends because all you ever posted was negative crap about Trump. Even people who dislike him don't want to hear non stop crap about him anymore.

But is what they're reporting actually true? You calling Johns Hopkins a liar, mister?!

No. What I'm saying is that they picked an article that would strictly support their ideology. If it said anything else, regardless of source, it would have been rejected. based on the author, I'd say it was cherry-picked because he doesn't cite the entire article.

Look up "Matt Margolis" and tell me what you find. Always consider the source before you determine something is "factual".

I tapped through to the Johns Hopkins stuff referenced by the article and found them to be believable/truthful.

U.S. rated No. 1 in the world for disaster readiness by Global Health Security Index
Johns Hopkins University source rates 195 nations

Don’t doubt that America is ready for the challenges ahead. The nation is, actually rated No. 1 in terms of disaster readiness, according to the Global Health Security Index, compiled by Johns Hopkins University. The U.S. tops the list of 195 countries.

“Despite claims by the mainstream media and the Democratic Party that the United States was ‘ill-prepared’ to handle the coronavirus pandemic and that actions by Trump administration made us vulnerable, the United States was actually ranked the best-prepared country in the world to handle a pandemic in a study by Nuclear Threat Initiative and the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security published in late 2019,” wrote Matt Margolis, a columnist for PJ Media.

The U.S. has a Global Health Security Index score that was 83.5 out of a possible 100 — the highest ranking in the analysis. Britain placed second with a score of 77.9, Netherlands third at 75.6., Australia fourth at 75.5 and Canada fifth at 75.3.
