I know you're a science denier and that this is no big deal to you. Perhaps you should listen to medical experts, not politicians who are more concerned about money and votes than facts.
My sister in law was a fairly famous research doctor at a well-known CA bio-tech firm. Famous because she invented some breakthrough treatments for HIV. She retired early on her stock options and lives in Europe. This is my one point of contact with a true expert and no hype.
She says to pay attention to the epidemiologists. You know, scientists? People who actually have training is diseases and their treatment and prevention.
