Yes .... not a big fan of the sandbags ...traction aids not very helpful

Grit or traction strips, never chains though. I know some old guys use them in the rural areas but in the city if you get stuck it’s a tow truck call.

I only chain on the very worst of days when it's near impossible to even move on a flat street. There is one road on my route sometimes that is chains required during winter.
