Does anyone think it’s possible to vote our way out of this kind of tyranny?

And honestly we can take our ball and go home. We don’t need Washington for anything. Course they need us and more importantly need our money because they’re thieves, which is gonna be the issue

You’re gonna be surprised how quickly talk of secession is gonna pick up steam. At the turn of the last decade it was a nonstarter. Now this decade you got more people thinking about it. I think by 2030 (which is when the elites want to have their new world order in place) it’ll be a full movement. Because we’re also facing a world war and a depression on the horizon as well. There’s only so long two sides who despise each other can live in one country
No states will secede.

The vast majority of people won't want to secede.

When they have nothing to eat and the dollar is close to worthless they will. People still have too much to lose but it’s not gonna stay that way much longer. Already we have absolutely zero representation and we’re being taxed into poverty

And just exactly what De Santas and the Florida GOP do to help you when you were in dire need of heart surgery and you had no insurance?
They paid for it. Ron, yes I call people I know personally by their first name, came by my room and assured me that as a voting Republican my hospital bill was covered. Said all my outside medical bills would've been too but Dems wouldn't allow it.

How is that relevant anyways? When Republicans completely control the government do they not give Federal assistance in disasters? Are you under the impression only Democrats do?
You don’t see the hypocrisy?

I think Florida’s a :censored2: hole state. But the national government should step in even if the right can’t find it spelled out in the constitution.

Van left us with his bill.

Socialism for him is good. I have a hunch his dad’s bill will be on us as well.
My dad has Medicare and pays for supplemental insurance. Do you see all of the elderly as people whose care is "on us?"

I would tell you that I think Social Security and Medicare are the best ideas Democrats ever had but then @bacha29 would attack me for only supporting the programs that benefit me. He of course can't tell me what other programs I'm against. Broken record.

How is it hypocrisy to accept disaster relief? When did all functions of a Federal government become a socialist program? And speaking of hypocrisy the Federal government has it spelled out in the Constitution to protect states from invasions. To enforce our borders. But you turn a blind eye to that because it's what your party wants.

And if Charlie Crist was elected governor you'd suddenly like Florida.

I would say yes.

But it’s hypocritical to deny it to others or disparage others for taking it. Would you agree?
I think if you break down why that support was voted against you'd find a lot of pork heaped onto it. That's what we love about DeSantis, responsible governance.

No, I mean drawing maps to advantage one side. You know that. Stop trying to be cute.
Except actual gerrymandering is shot down in courts. Karl Rove pointed out last night that due to redistricting we won't see Republican waves like in 1994 and 2010 anymore. So don't get your hopes up that Republicans only win due to gerrymandering. And don't kid yourself that Democrats don't participate in redistricting when they're in power either.

Van kept telling us how the 6 figure cost of his heart surgery was "written off". No problem folks...It was "written off"
I looked into what Florida does with these so called "conservatives' who need healthcare often expensive forms of healthcare and the patient has no insurance;

First pursued source of payment: Medicaid

Second pursued source of payment: A contracted plan Florida has with insurers to offer very low cost but also very low coverage to low income Floridians starting around $85 a month I seriously doubt that it would cover open heart surgery Doesn't matter because Van didn't have any.

Third pursued source of payment: See the first source.

And here's something else I found. It costs every INSURED Floridian $2000+ per in higher premiums in order to pay for the healthcare of uninsured Floridians.

I'd so say as well that socialism has treated Van quite well indeed. Unfortunately now that Fox News has Van so terrified of the word "socialism " despite the fact that he has benefited extremely well from it and by the looks of things doesn't even realize it that we should just so the right thing and lift that burden of terror off his shoulders by repealing and abolishing such programs altogether . And in doing so ease his troubled brow.

Democrats have me terrified of the word socialism because of everything they bundle with it. Soft on crime but hard on the police. Refusing to enforce borders and spending billions to support the millions they're letting in illegally. Teaching our children made up history. Pushing for acceptance of what is essentially mental illness as normal in our schools. Pushing climate change as a means of implementing socialism. Pushing identity politics to keep us divided. Weaponizing our DOJ and FBI against political enemies of this administration. The list is extensive.

You should be terrified.

P.S. The $2000 extra doesn't happen because of an uninsured guy getting his bill written off by a non-profit hospital. The extra $2000 was forced on everyone by Obamacare making all the insured pay higher premiums, have higher deductibles, to pay for the uninsured. It's built into the cake.
