Im not the Mail Man!
Last couple of weeks they’ve been using Surepost as a release valve. Basically on heavy days they divert 100% of it to the USPS.

Asked the union about that and their response was that the union has asked about holding volume back to give us a chance to rest....guess that’s their response.

U-hauls all getting between 1000-2000 pieces a day to each individual post office.

Does this mean if they add 1 22.4 job, they have to add 3 22.3 drivers? Or can they use existing 22.3 drivers and reach the 25% limit first?

Ex. Part timer next on list gets 22.4. But the next 3 under him get 22.3.
Or
Next 15 guys go 22.4 because they haven't reached their 25% limit.
Once they go over the 25% of 22 .4 drivers, if they want to add any more 22.4 drivers they have to add three RPCD drivers for every 22.4 position they create

I'm not saying give them all our volume but why just the light items? There have been times I delivered a 50lb box to the same address as usps while they were delivering a little white Amazon bag, surepost.
It's about accountability. The simplest way to explain is this. We get fired if we dont follow the rules. So bust their head every time they dont.

No not even close. Read article 22.

For one 22.4s count towards the amount of jobs they have to hire for 22.3s.
